...and he'll do it very, very well. Baron Corbin was drafted back onto the bigger shows to be a main roster stalwart who can shine up newcomers. Shinsuke Nakamura was moved to SmackDown for the same reason, but you didn't see Baron getting a video package that saw him vow to rock the boat. No, he's here to grab a paddle and contribute.

Baron was fun foil for newbie Carmelo Hayes.

Whilst Hayes was never going to be called upon to work as hard as he did against Cody, he still looked good and scored his very first SmackDown win since being called up full time. There's no way beating Corbin is a false dawn for Carmelo like it was for fellow ex-NXT alumni Cameron Grimes many moons ago either.

Melo is going to be a star around these parts, and everyone knows it. He's a solid outside bet to win King Of The Ring. Even if he loses, Hayes has some tasty matches upcoming - his next challenge is none other than Randy Orton. Bring it on, because that sounds fab.
