6 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (10 May - Results & Review)

3. Roman Reigns Puts Solo In Charge

Solo Sikoa Paul Heyman The Bloodline

Speaking of The Bloodline.

Solo told Heyman that Roman Reigns has put him in charge of the faction's affairs until the 'Tribal Chief' is ready to return. This is the latest wrinkle in a compelling drama, and a damn fine one. We'll find out soon enough if Sikoa is lying or not; he probably is, but Paul E can't do anything about it on his own.

As always, Heyman's facials and general behaviour carried the skit, but Solo deserves props for developing nicely as a character too. He's honestly coming into his own now WWE has tasked him with speaking more, and it's helpful that the likes of Roman or The Rock aren't around to overshadow him.

Can WWE achieve the seemingly impossible and turn Heyman into a sympathetic babyface? That sentence sounds ludicrous when reading it back, but the Hall Of Fame inductee does have his own legacy with the core audience, and it's clear Roman will be p*ssed at Sikoa when he comes back.

Brace yourselves for absolute scenes, people. Scenes.
