6 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (31 Jan - Results & Review)
Ups…
6. A Fine One-Off

Onto the good SmackDown had to offer. Unsurprisingly, it came when WWE let the roster do their thing inside the ring.
Andrade and The Miz worked well together. Miz is Teflon, so he can take clean losses like this one and still get a reaction from fans every time he walks through the curtain. That's guaranteed due to his longevity and borderline jobber to World Champion story. Meanwhile, Andrade is someone who needs a little more direction (like his old foe Carmelo Hayes), but maybe Hunter figures he’s at his best when wrestling does the talking. Fair enough; can't argue with that, because 'El Idolo' is one hell of a worker.
There's something so smooth about the way he moves around out there. Miz seemed to be enjoying having someone slightly bigger who can also bump around for him, and he even decided to bust out a few moves we don't see him do too often. That's when you know someone's comfortable in their own skin and knows what his role is in the locker room. Miz tried everything he could think of to have Andrade's kind of match, which he deserves credit for.
This bout will probs be a one off, 'cause Miz has to pick his business back up with fellow SmackDown newbies The Wyatt Sicks. That's assuming WWE's writing team haven't forgotten all about Uncle Howdy and the gang. Surely they haven't. Otherwise, there would've been no point in bringing them over to Fridays along with The Miz.
Andrade vs. Miz was a tidy bit of business. Go check it out if you're a fan of either guy.
