SmackDown’s doubles division has been on fire for a while now, and this was another helping of tidy action. It's clear to see that everyone's feeling it in the tag ranks. Credit to them for stepping up, and kudos to Triple H for making sure that everyone's motivated to put on their best. Finally, credit to WWE for booking this rematch; DIY vs. Motor City Machine Guns will always be a good time.

Personally, this fan enjoyed the mini-story that ran through this bout. Tommaso Ciampa exposed the corner buckle and tried everything he could do cheat and grab a quick win. Charles Robinson, who's a switched on and savvy referee (he has been since the old WCW days), spotted him trying to use the ropes, but Chuck was conveniently distracted when Ciampa's own tactics came back to bite him.

It was his head that went smashing into the exposed buckle.

Moving on, the Machine Guns vs. The Street Profits for the latter's belts will be another scorcher. Then all of these teams (Pretty Deadly and Los Garza too) can get to a multi-team affair at ‘Mania. Who'd honestly be mad at it if WWE tossed in some ladders and let these squads go nuts? Big bumps and bruises incoming, lads. Get those post-show massages booked!

A sudden backstage confrontation between PD and the new team of Miz and Carmelo Hayes hints that 'Melo Don't Miz' will be involved in that too. Meh, the more the merrier. It's hardly like that pair coming along for the ride will wreck the match, or anything.
