Three minutes.

That's how long it took Liv Morgan to "surprise" (according to Michael Cole) Zelina Vega with a roll up for the win. So, here's a recap. Vega made her first appearance on WWE TV since November 2020, was put into MITB by Sonya Deville and then got jobbed out to Liv in 180 fleeting seconds.

Who knows why the heck WWE would choose to do this. Vega is seriously good on the mic and always had potential, but she'll go nowhere fast if this is how she's going to be booked on SmackDown. Plus, Morgan has now beaten multiple entrants in the ladder match they're trying to sell.

Nothing about this should sit right with anybody. Morgan, by using that element of "surprise", didn't get over with the victory, and Zelina already looks like another 50/50 add-on to the desperate women's division. Whomever booked this deserves a clip round the ear.
