3. Missed Opportunity?

OK, about that missed opportunity.

WWE passed on having Rey Mysterio and the LWO rush out to save Dragon Lee from Legado del Fantasma's attacks. That does feel like a miss, not least 'cause Lee could do with a sprinkling of Mysterio-led star dust to help get him over. The writers pretty much forgot about him for a spell there, so he needs a boost.

Rey and the LWO having his back would help - Dragon wouldn't need to become a fully-fledged member of the faction, but putting him under Mysterio's learning tree as a replacement protege for Santos Escobar sounds like a neat idea. In fairness, maybe WWE will get there eventually.

It was strange that Rey wasn't around at all this week though. He returned with a bang on the prior episode, and then was posted missing. WWE didn't even really mention him at all until the announcers revealed that he'll be on the show next time out.
