6 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (March 8 - Results & Review)
2. Still Not Feeling Any Of This
This is a subjective argument (as most 'Ups & Downs' points are), but something isn't clicking with Kevin Owens' potential involvement in the expected one-on-one between Randy Orton and Logan Paul. The whole thing seems forced, like it's only happening because KO has nothing else to do at 'Mania.
The tag match pitting Owens and Orton vs. Austin Theory and Grayson Waller was fine and all, but hardly anything about this entire story makes for compelling television. The heels were only there to be punching bags, and there really isn't much to this alliance between Kev and Randy.
If WWE wants a short term R-KO run just to use that name, then please don't.
Creative will have to pull the nose up on this quickly if it's going to shine as a three-way scenario in Philadelphia next month. Right now, Logan Paul defending vs. Orton and Owens just lacks some oomph. It certainly lacks the spice Randy going after LP solo seemed to have.
