6 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Oct 2)

1. Next Week On TV (Not Pay-Per-View)

Bayley Sasha Banks
WWE

No, no, no, no, no, no, NO.

Bayley vs. Sasha Banks should not be happening on free television, and it definitely shouldn't go down next week if it's just going to end in some screwy non-finish that sets up a rematch at Hell In A Cell. That's unnecessary, especially when this feud has the chops to headline a major pay-per-view.

It's one of the top storylines on SmackDown, and deserves to be treated as such. Sasha's promo, whilst solid (largely because she didn't pander to the audience like a typical WWE babyface), should have been building towards HIAC rather than some 2020 Draft special episode. That's not a big enough stage.

Again, this mainly sucks 'cause WWE will use it as a preview for things to come. It'd be much better if Bayley and Banks didn't touch one another until they were locked inside a cage or working some sort of gimmicky brawl.
