6 Ups & 4 Downs For AEW Collision (Feb 10 - Results & Review)

3. Great Stuff All Around

With Adam Copeland having some mic time again here, the Rated-R Superstar didn't disappoint. But this segment wasn't just about Copeland, nor his quest to beat Christian Cage.

Firstly, the 11-time World Champion sowed the seed for something down the line with the Young Bucks, explaining how what Nicholas and Matthew did to Sting and Darby Allin wouldn't have happened on his watch. On top of that, Copeland referenced Eddie Kingston and his Triple Crown, stating how he absolutely wants to face the Mad King somewhere down the line.

The Canadian was then interrupted by Daniel Garcia, who clearly has his own sights on Christian Cage. As such, Garcia and Copeland are in each other's way of getting to the TNT Title. While there was a mutual respect between these two babyfaces, the chemistry between them felt extremely promising, solely from their verbal exchange and body language.

For Garcia, he openly talked about his doubt at "pulling a Daniel Garcia" and coming up short in the big match, as has happened many times previously. Still, he's always prepared to continue to bet on himself, dust himself down, and do it all again.

Where Adam Copeland is concerned, he talked fondly of Red Death, noting how FTR - two close friends of Copeland's, who've also recently teamed with Garcia - spoke highly of him. The respect of Dax and Cash is enough for the one-time Edge to have respect for the former JAS man.

This segment ended with a stern handshake, and Copeland letting Garcia know that the only reason he hasn't ripped Danny's face off tonight, is because the New Yorker had already competed earlier in the show. Still, it's very much on next week, as Adam Copeland views Daniel Garcia as wanting to take food off his family's table. Obviously, because the multi-millionaire Copeland family are clearly strapped for cash and can barely keep the lights on...

All of this was great from top to bottom, with the segment immediately followed by the official announcement of Copeland vs. Garcia for next week - with the winner getting that shot at Christian Cage.
