6 Ups & 4 Downs For AEW Collision (Oct 7 - Results & Review)

2. A Little Too Competitive

AEW Collision The Acclaimed Daddy Ass Iron Savages Jacked Jameson
AEW

Full disclosure, your writer here sees a whole bunch of upside in the Iron Savages. The problem is, after 'Dirty Bulk' Bronson and 'Sauce Hoss' Beefcake Boulder were beaten by FTR in a three-minute squash match just a matter of weeks ago, that firmly established the Savages place in the food chain.

So, to have Bronson, Beefcake, and Jacked Jameson go nearly ten minutes against the Acclaimed and Daddy Ass felt a little off in how audiences have been conditioned to view the Iron Savages right now. An even stranger decision was having the Savages and Jameson take so much of the match, dominating the AEW Trios Champions for substantial periods.

The champs did get the win, but this could've been over in half the time.

Still, props to Nigel McGuinness for some divine commentary lines featuring "posterior on the menu" and the "Ricca-bone-zone".
