6 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Collision (Nov 17 - Results & Review)

3. A Lesser Squash Than The Last

Somehow, Wardlow's squash was even less satisfying.

Right, new rule: Wardlow doesn't need these things anymore. He should be long past this sort of stuff, and the fact he's back to running roughshod over enhancement workers is a sad commentary on Tony Khan's stop/start booking style more than anything else. Did he forget that the big man has already done this?

Being brutally honest, All Elite should get Wardlow's story with old boss MJF moving or find something else for the Powerbomb-loving powerhouse to do. He doesn't even come across as that physically dominant anymore - Powerhouse Hobbs has taken that spot away from the guy.

Decide, Mr. Khan. Decide! Scripting Wardlow to run around in circles only makes him look silly, and it was obvious straight away on Collision that fans are long-since bored of seeing the same old stuff. A match vs. MJF can't come soon enough for him.
