6 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dynamite (13 April)

4. reDRagon Foiled By Jurassic Express

Jurassic Express reDRagon
AEW

reDRagon are yet to have a truly great two-on-two match in AEW. Even after last night, when they fell to Jurassic Express, Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish felt like they were fighting back to the level he used to operate at in ROH, NJPW, and WWE, suggesting, perhaps, that they are still getting used to the beats of the AEW house style.

This was a decent match nonetheless. Not great, but decent. Stronger limb selling following the prolonged assault on Luchasaurus' legs would have raised it a notch, as would the tightening of several clunky spots, though the big, popping visuals were there (the avalanche Falcon Arrow/front chancery combination in particular) and Jurassic Express at least looked tight and cohesive, even if their reign continues to underwhelm.

FTR hitting the ring to dissuade reDRagon from continuing their post-match assault on the champions offers great hope for the division. Give them all the belts. They're in the form of their lives, over, and stand as the best tag team in the world right now.
