The ongoing presentation of Chris Bey is one of the greatest aspects of IMPACT's current programming. He's now a fully-fledged member of Bullet Club, being presented with a Club shirt by Jay White following his win over Juice Robinson.
Vastly improved from a year ago, 'The Ultimate Finesser' wrestled a decent contest opposite the former CJ Parker, keeping the action hot from the get-go with an instantaneous dropkick. He struggled to maintain the advantage, though, with a failed standing Moonsault resulting in Juice getting in a delicious Spinebuster. An Art of Finesse ultimately secured the three for Bey, all while Jay White and David Finlay brawled up the ramp.
A minor Down here for White and Finlay's needless shenanigans at ringside; White hopping on to the ring apron while his own partner was in control was nonsensical, and provided more of a distraction than assistance to Bey. Regardless, the remainder of the match delivered.
How, exactly, this affects Bey going forward remains to be seen. Presumably, he'll have more New Japan dates scheduled, though these may be restricted to the company's American-based shows. For now, his place in Bullet Club is incredibly justified given his body of work over the past year and a half.
