6 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling (March 2)
2. The Streak Continues
In Impact Wrestling, Deonna Purrazzo has technically never lost to Jordynne Grace. She, alongside Kimber Lee and Susan, were defeated by Grace, Jazz, and ODB recently, but that saw Jazz submit Kimber. 'The Virtuosa' is yet to be pinned or submitted by Jordynne. That streak continued as she defeated both Grace and Kiera Hogan in last night's main event.
Originally scheduled as a straight-up singles match, Hogan was added at the request of 'Thicc Mama Pump', and made for a good performance to the match. She didn't look a step out of place alongside Purrazzo and Grace, and actually furthered the match to an extent. As for Deonna, she showed off a number of innovative ways to transition into her Fujiwara armbar that were a genuine joy to watch. That tilt-a-whirl takedown into the submission - ooft!
Deonna rolled up Jordynne to gain another win over her, which came after Tasha Steelz prevented Kiera from being hit by a Vader Bomb. Jordynne, Jazz, and Fire N Flava brawled to the back, opening the door for ODB to run in post-match and lay out the champion. She wants the championship.
A terrific match made only better by its aftermath. ODB won't be ending Deonna's reign most likely, however, it'll make for a solid match at Sacrifice. Good on her.
