6 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Oct 22)
4. Laying Down A Challenge
Seeing as they retained the World Tag Team Championships at Bound For Glory over Rich Swann & Willie Mack and Rob Van Dam & Rhino, The North laid down a challenge for next week's episode of Impact for anyone to come and face them.
'All Ego' and 'The Walking Weapon' claim that they're the best tandem in Impact right now, so they want to throw a bone to management by giving them something that will make the fans looking forward to watching the show. Such kind guys.
Since they made the challenge, it was later revealed on the night that it'll actually be a singles match, as Josh Alexander takes on Pro Wrestling NOAH star Naomichi Marufuji, who suffered a loss at Bound For Glory to Michael Elgin. It's a bit of a shame that it won't be a tag team match (unless Marufuji finds himself a mate), but Alexander vs. Marufuji will no doubt be a barnstormer.
