6 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Oct 22)
3. Make It Rayne
It may have been a shocking move to see Shotzi Blackheart competing on Impact, but that doesn't take anything from her match with Madison Rayne.
With Madison's on and off frenemy Kiera Hogan providing commentary, Rayne and Blackheart had quite a slow match for the most part. 'The Queen Bee' was in control for the bulk of the contest, hitting a gorgeous northern lights suplex. However, Shotzi was able to bounce back later on, landing a roundhouse kick and a 619. A missed attempt at a second one allowed Madison to connect with the Cross Rayne for the victory.
Considering there were only two exclusive matches throughout the broadcast, they both had to be something special. This certainly filled that criteria. It may have had a slow start, but that doesn't make any difference to how good of a match it was. Sometimes, slow matches are the best matches.
