6 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Oct 27)
2. Please, End The Suffering
No matter what she's doing, Alisha Edwards remains an unbearable act to watch on any Impact show. She teamed with Jordynne Grace this week in a losing effort against Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz ahead of the Knockouts Tag Team Championships tournament beginning in three weeks, a team that 'Thicc Mama Pump' wasn't so keen on being a part of.
It's worth noting that this wasn't the worst match ever, and it certainly wasn't the worst to involve Alisha. That said, she was increasingly tedious here, constantly being a nuisance to not only Kiera and Tasha, but to Jordynne also. For instance, the former Knockouts Champion was aiming for a suicide dive at one stage, only for Edwards to move her adversary back into the ring. This was likely a spot planned out in advance, but it remains an annoyance regardless.
Her accidental collision in the corner with Grace led to Alisha being rolled up for the three count, with Edwards and Grace getting in each other's faces post-match. The match just didn't do anything to build any more hype for the forthcoming tournament. All it did was remind us how bad Alisha can be at times.
