6 Ups & 4 Downs From Last Night's WWE Backstage (Jan 28)

2. Halftime Heat

Mick Foley
WWE

Mick Foley was back in reflective mood after last week's summary of his Royal Rumble 2000 showdown with Triple H, but this brief breakdown of his Halftime Heat 1999 camp classic with The Rock was far superior to last week's insight-free love letter.

Foley reminisced about some of their hilarious improvised moments during the brawl, calling back to spots around salsa and the (in)famous forklift finish.

It's almost certainly just coincidence that we've been gifted a fortnight of Foley fights, but his commentary over top of classic footage could easily be a weekly feature. The panel's celebration of his work after the fact backed that sentiment up.
