6 Ups & 4 Downs From Last Night's WWE Backstage (Jan 28)
Ups...
6. "Bienvenidos A Miami"
It wasn't exactly AEW Dynamite on a boat, but the unique location for this week's Backstage achieved more than just a bit of pre-planned Fox co-promotion.
Emanating from Miami ahead of Sunday's Super Bowl in front of an audience that sounded louder than most SmackDown crowds every Friday night, the refreshed energy was a welcome change of pace from the typical shiny floored setting.
It looked great, it clearly added spark for hosts and guests alike, and even encouraged Renee Young and Christian to lead a Will Smith singalong within the first few seconds of the show. Here's to getting it out on the road again in 2020.
