6 Ups & 4 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Jun 21)

Ups...

6. Heating Up

In the weeks leading to now, the rivalry between The LAX and The Rascalz has been a predominantly friendly affair. That was, until the World Tag Team Championships match from two weeks ago where Trey - not one of the two legal Rascalz members in the match - scored the winning pinfall to take the titles. Seeing as he wasn't legally involved in the bout, the titles never switched hands.

This has led Dez and Wentz to believe they deserve to be champions, something that hasn't sat well with Konnan. After The Rascalz invaded The LAX's bar last week, Konnan headed to their clubhouse this week, warning them to show some respect. If they want to win the titles, they'll have to wait until the match at Slammiversary, which makes sense since you can't win the titles unless there's a match going on. Brawling won't win you anything apart from a few scratches.

It wasn't the most important segment from this week's show, but it provided some continuation for the rivalry, something that's needed for all the Slammiversary matches going forward seeing as we've only got two weekly episodes left before the big night.
