Sometimes, you just can’t explain how or why certain wrestlers gel with each other. A combination of performers gets in the ring, and somehow, magic happens.

The Judgment Day and AJ Styles and Dragon Lee captured lightning in a bottle a couple of weeks ago when they fought over the World Tag Team Championships. Monday night, the Judgment Day tried in vain to reclaim their titles, but they put together another fun, blistering match that clicked at every step.

Finn Balor and JD McDonagh jumped Lee and Styles at the bell, trying to end the match quickly, but Dragon fought back and brought in AJ, who ran wild until Balor cut him off. The match continued at a crisp pace, with Dominik Mysterio running interference for his stablemates. This time, however, Sheamus ran down to play equalizer, getting revenge for last week’s loss to McDonagh.

The four men racked off a flurry of false finishes, but Dragon dove to the floor to take out Balor, and AJ caught JD with a Styles Clash to retain. Great fun.

It’s a huge shame that the rest of the Raw tag division is non-existent.
