Agents have an important role to play when it comes to laying out matches and a wrestling show in general. One of the things they theoretically help avert are situations where important spots are diminished or repeated throughout the show. If a big match calls for a wrestler to have his ankle pillmanized, then that same chair spot shouldn’t happen in a throwaway opening match.

Clearly, the agents missed the assignment for this week’s Raw, or they were worn out after a double taping, because two consecutive matches followed the same pattern: a chickensh** heel (Dominik Mysterio and The Miz) fought a superior opponent (Damian Priest and Dexter Lumis) but had backup appear at ringside (Judgment Day and Final Testament) whose leaders caused a disqualification, triggering a four-on-one beatdown until other babyfaces (War Raiders and Wyatt Sicks) appeared to make the save.

These were back-to-back matches, with only the Seth Rollins interview segment breaking them up. How does this get booked like this?

Also, Karrion Kross’ grand plan from last week was to send Miz out there to get his a** handed to him and then surround Lumis, as if he hasn’t watched a single minute of the Wyatts on Raw these past five months and how they magically appear at ringside. Come on.
