6 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE Raw (31 July - Review)

1. Not Good Enough For SummerSlam

Becky Lynch

If you told WWE fans and wrestling critics a year ago that a feud between Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus was so abysmal that the blowoff match wasn’t good enough for SummerSlam, they would have thought you were insane.

But, a few days out from SummerSlam, the match between Trish and Becky has been bumped out two weeks to Raw in Winnipeg after a false start Monday night when Zoey Stark immediately interfered to cause a DQ just seconds after the bell rang.

That’s pretty far from the ideal situation for a Hall-of-Famer and one of WWE’s biggest stars. It just is a sad statement on how bad this feud has been, that WWE won’t even try to sneak it onto the SummerSlam card.

What a shame.
