2. Dominik Courts Danger With Oba

On paper, Oba Femi versus Dominik Mysterio should be a slaughter, save for a metric ton of outside interference.
But in the build-up to the match, Oba versus Dominik was a tremendous bit of business Monday night.
Femi opened Raw by channeling his own Paul Heyman impersonation, offering not a prediction, but a spoiler: he would run through everyone in the King of the Ring tournament, and while the person in the finals would fight valiantly, he would fall to The Ruler.
Oba then turned his attention to Brock Lesnar, noting that he hadn’t collected the trophy of The Beast’s head yet, pledging to settle the score whenever Lesnar resurfaced.
This brought out Oba’s KOTR semifinal opponent, Dirty Dom, who went on a fantastic rant at Femi, asking, “How long have you been here, rookie? A cup of coffee? I’m a 20-year veteran in this game.” Just absolutely perfect d*ck heel energy here from a guy who has defined sniveling, conniving heel for the past few years.
Mysterio bowed up to Femi, suggesting that he take a knee and respect him, but it was all a ruse for JD McDonagh to attack Oba with a chair, to no avail. Femi quickly dispatched both men, sending them fleeing. The Ruler then warned Dominik that he had messed up, adding, “We all know Rey Mysterio is your father, but next week, I will introduce you to your daddy.”
Incredible stuff.
