6 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE Raw (8 Jun - Results & Review)
3. Luchadores Shine

When looking at the card for Raw on Monday night, there was next-to-no doubt that Rey Mysterio versus Penta would deliver on what was promised in this first-in-WWE matchup.
While Mysterio might be well past his prime, the lucha legend still can go, and he and the Intercontinental Champion blitzed through a fast-paced match of aerials, counters, and near-falls. Rey had a few great spots, including dodging a Penta baseball slide and immediately hitting him with an Asai moonsault to the floor, and a baseball slide into a sunset powerbomb, driving Penta into the barricade.
Penta refused to die, hitting the Penta Driver for a near-fall, surviving a poisonrana (which looked gnarly for Rey too), kicking out of a 619/Drop the Dime, and finally blocking a frogsplash attempt and getting the Mexican Destroyer for the win.
The match graphic essentially promised a high-energy, fun, athletic contest, and that’s exactly what they delivered.
