4. The Crown Jewel Problem Exposed
Liv Morgan, Dominik Mysterio and the recently-returning Raquel Rodriguez stopped by on SmackDown to build towards Liv vs. Nia Jax at Crown Jewel, but people we...have a problem. The heel vs. heel dynamic they already have going on didn't fly here, and the mini-feud won't matter one bit after WWE gets back from Saudi Arabia.
It's pretty hard to care about a villain vs. villain story you know will last three weeks at best.
Also, everyone gets that WWE doesn't care about their own Draft, but if you're going to run crossover angles between both major shows then at least make them worthwhile. Morgan vs. Jax at Crown Jewel just isn't, and no amount of distraction-laced matches involving them can or will change that.
Triple H's Crown Jewel Championship announcement at Bad Blood went down like a fart in church for a reason. Many fans realise this stuff will only get in the way of regular storylines and temporarily turn programming into a mess like the old brand warfare stuff at Survivor Series used to every year.
