6 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Dec 18)

3. The Cheat Profits

There are shoots of recovery on the male side of things, but only because Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode finally have some sweet as hell matching gear. OK, maybe not (that powder blue attire is nice though). It'll take more than funky clothing to make this feud with The Street Profits a winner.

Especially if the babyfaces cheat.

WWE might've killed this rivalry stone dead by having Montez Ford hook Roode's tights for a cheeky win. Their bout, whilst fine and functional, was also pretty much the exact same match fans saw a few weeks ago. The only thing that really seemed different was the finish, and it wasn't a positive conclusion.

This story relied on Roode and Ziggler being the dastardly scoundrels and threatening to win those belts. Now they've had a taste of their own medicine, there's really nowhere left to go with the tale. Both teams could've done without 50/50 booking.
