6 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Feb 5)

3. ‘Bayley Kay’

It's nice that Bayley had praise heaped her way by Steve Austin on 'Broken Skull Sessions', and it's lovely that she relived old memories with her heroes backstage at the Royal Rumble. Those moments must be even more wonderful because they distract her from WWE's current booking.

The former champ is going nowhere fast.

Another random-ass tag is not what the women's division needs. Being honest, things probably won't go that way in the long run, but Billie Kay handing her resume to Bayley is still a bit worrying. Put it this way: Teaming with Kay won't bag Bayley a spot on the WrestleMania 37 card.

Nothing about this works. Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan look like jobbers, Kay's merry-go-round of partners is tedious and Bayley shouldn't be dragged into their lower-card nonsense. She needs something meaningful to do, and quick.
