6. A Shockingly Good One-Off Title Clash

IYO SKY Michin

Going in, this guy was not expecting much from IYO SKY vs. Michin.

The match looked like being one of those one off title bouts that comes and goes without much interest, but these women delivered despite everyone knowing a title switch was less likely than Triple H ringing up Tony Khan to tell him he's doing a really, really good job. Remarkably, that lack of title drama didn't seem to matter.

Mia Yim worked damn hard to show what she can do. It's clear The OC member (if that group's still a thing) had a point to prove, and IYO was only too happy to be a giving champ who prioritises match quality over looking strong herself. Hopefully, this wasn't wasted effort from either wrestler.

Any title reign is only as strong as the challengers bolstering it, so it's in SKY's best interests to have as many good matches as possible. She sure did here, and Michin surely did herself a few favours by putting in such a great shift herself.
