6 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (July 31)

2. Nasty Nikki

Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss have come to the end of their run.

Don't be sad, because this is a perfectly natural and acceptable parting of ways. They've done everything they can as a duo, and it'd be boring as f*ck if WWE tried to sell them as chirpy Women's Tag-Team Champs again anyway. Nikki pushing Bliss away and storming off after losing to Bayley is a good sign.

Cross has been showing some of her old SAnitY weirdness for months now, and it's time for that to come to a head soon. A heel turn is imminent - it just has to be. Nikki has charisma for days, so convincingly going rogue shouldn't be too much of a problem for her. It'll feel fresh when they're working against each other.

Bliss and Nikki will likely have as much chemistry as opponents as they did as partners. Plus, any excuse to get away from those utterly dreadful 'A Moment Of Bliss' love-ins sounds good to this writer. They're the actual worst.
