Bobby Heenan's commentary helps carry this cartoonish WWE b*llocks over the line, but the "double vision" gag as a second Doink joins the fiendish original for a beatdown of Crush makes light of an otherwise gruesome scene.
The Kona native had been destroyed by the clown's lead-filled fake arm to build up to his grand WrestleMania payoff, but retribution never came as Crush was outfought and out-thought on the 'Grandest Stage'.
The trickery was good fun, but it hid an otherwise-enjoyable outing from the underrated Matt Bourne his occasionally-excellent babyface foe. It ultimately proved the undoing of Crush as a credible force on the babyface side - getting outsmarted so frequently by a clown was the beginning of the end of his push.
