6 Ups & 5 Downs From Impact Wrestling (19 Jan)
3. Innocent Until Proven Guilty
Taya Valkyrie has been taken to jail after it was revealed she was behind the whole 'Who Shot John E. Bravo' story arc, luring Larry D into doing her dirty work. This brings an end to her Impact Wrestling tenure after three and a bit years.
'La Wera Loca' was unveiled as the mastermind when Acey Romero (after he invited himself into the knockouts locker room, so a minor Down for that) found the Ring Rust cologne in her bag. The record-breaking former Knockouts Champion was taken away by two police offers who you'll probably catch on a future episode of Xplosion. A touching moment saw Taya and Rosemary embrace in the final Taya Valkyrie scene in Impact Wrestling. The best way for her to end her career here.
There's not much else to say on this matter, other than it's great that Larry D wasn't technically guilty - there just wasn't much reasoning for the XXXL man to have shot the former rogue referee. Her final Impact match being for the Knockouts Championship, while her final segment in Impact being alongside Rosemary and John E. Bravo also makes perfect sense, considering how influential both have been in Taya's Impact career.
The jokes made about her being sent to prisons in Jacksonville and Stamford were exceptional, by the way.
