6 Ups & 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Nov 20)

Downs...

5. Monstrous Tedium

Braun Strowman Kane

'The Monster Among Men' had a busy night on Raw, first going beard-to-face with Triple H in the opener, then wrestling Jason Jordan later on. The match didn't last, though: Kane interrupted after just over a minute, attacking Strowman with a barrage of chairshots, then attempting to crush the brute's windpipe with the weapon..

And so Braun's least interesting feud must continue. These developments would've been fine had they featured a more compelling aggressor, but Kane's goose is cooked. He's old, slow, out of shape, and years beyond his sell-by date. Sure, he's another monster of the past for Strowman to eventually crush, but Braun's still the hottest act in the company, and spinning his wheels with an elderly dud won't push him back up the card.

Here's hoping WWE come to their senses and bring this storyline to a prompt resolution, because Strowman isn't getting anything out of it. Frankly, they should've called it a day when he drove Kane through the ring the other week.
