6 Ups & 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Nov 20)
4. Asuka's Run Continues

The past few weeks have painted Asuka as the killer WWE should've portrayed her as from her very first appearance on the main roster.
Those matches with Emma were entirely pointless. This is a woman who made her name running through the competition in NXT, yet WWE decided to make her go 50/50 with a glorified enhancement talent. It wasn't getting her over, so WWE adjusted their focus, allowing Asuka to flatten a couple of jobbers on Raw, then letting her run the show at Survivor Series, destroying three SmackDown women en route to her team's victory.
Last night saw her crush Dana Brooke, and while not quite on the level of their TakeOver: Respect bout, it was everything it needed to be. Dana mounted some pitiful offence, but was ultimately dispatched through brutally effective striking, concluding with a flush head kick.
There's no point whatsoever in forcing 'The Empress Of Tomorrow' into labouring against wrestlers who are clearly beneath her, and this is precisely how she should be booked going forward.
