6 Ups & 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Nov 27)

1. Bálor, Buried

Kane Finn Balor

What on Earth makes WWE think fans actually want to see Kane in 2017?

'The Big Red Machine' is old, out of shape, and broken down. His credibility has been shot to pieces since he went 'Corporate' in 2013, and he doesn't even get consistent crowd reactions anymore. Sure, he has a great legacy, but his continued appearances are only harming it, as well as the full-time roster members he goes over every week.

Kane competed in two matches last night, first defeating Jason Jordan via countout in less than two minutes. This is fine, as the former American Alpha man is a go-nowhere geek, but Kane's next bout was a tougher pill to swallow.

'The Demon' fought Finn Bálor for the second time in a month, and while we were fortunately served the pain of watching Kane pin the former Universal Champion again, the burial was just as spectacular. Finn mounted some token offence, and was awarded a DQ victory after a couple of minutes. That's when the real 'fun' began, though, as Kane took his opponent out with chair, teasing breaking his neck with the weapon before Braun Strowman made the save.

Way to make a potentially marketable main eventer look like a tool at the hands of an expired, plodding monster, WWE.
