6 Ups & 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Nov 27)

Bray Wyatt's second objectively bad segment of the night bled into his first, with the former WWE Champion wrestling Matt Hardy immediately after his sleep-inducing promo, and somehow, the bout was even worse than the diatribe.

It doesn't help that WWE completely cut the opening stages, forcing us to join it in progress following a commercial break. Regardless, the action we did see was utterly lifeless. There was no heat, no energy, and no urgency. Both men were content to run through their movesets without even thinking about telling a cohesive story, with its length being the match's only saving grace: fortunately, this atrocity lasted just three and a half minutes.

Furthering Matt's ongoing "breakdown" was the only way in which this was even moderately effective. Hardy was visibly shaken by the loss, and sat himself down in the corner afterwards, screaming "delete" over and over. Delivering a variation on his Broken gimmick might be the only thing that can save him at the moment, because Matt is dying without Jeff.
