1. Frankenstein’s Monster

Chad Gable has spent the better part of the past two months warping the minds of his Alpha Academy charges, and it might finally be coming back to bite him this weekend.

In an effort to fire up his prized pupil Otis, Gable has repeatedly berated and slapped the big man, bringing Otis to the brink of turning on his master, but he’s always reined it in. Monday night, Gable again slapped Otis repeatedly when he wouldn’t attack Sami Zayn until Otis finally put Sami down. But then Otis seemingly turned on Chad… before backing down.

You can only push a man so far before he breaks, and Gable might learn that lesson the hard way. He’s polluted Otis’ mind to the point where Otis believes that he’s nothing without Chad, having lost his Money in the Bank briefcase, Mandy Rose, and Tucker before Gable rescued him.

But fan reaction, his empathy for his fellow Alpha Academy teammates, and Sami’s urging might sway Otis to cast off Gable. If that happens, Gable will face the wrath of the monster he created.
