6 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE Raw (10 June - Results & Review)
2. Liv’s Seduction Continues
Liv Morgan’s ongoing efforts to turn Dominik Mysterio against Rhea Ripley is uneven and at times uncomfortable, but at its core, this storyline works well.
Morgan is a confident champion who is holding to her long-term plan of taking everything from rival Rhea. First, she took her title. Now, she’s trying to take her Dom-Dom while simultaneously disrupting the Judgment Day. Monday night, she infiltrated the Judgment Day’s clubhouse to leave Mysterio her hotel room key card, which would prompt some hilarious reactions from the group when they saw the card.
Later, Liv was knocked off the apron during a six-man tag and landed astride Dominik for a really suggestive visual. She looked to be completely dialed in on doing whatever it took to achieve her goal with Ripley and taking Dominik from her. Mysterio, meanwhile, continued to try to reject and avoid her, but he kept finding ways to run into her and land in sit-com situations.
This can very easily get overdone and turn into bad comedy, but right now, everyone is playing their parts fairly well, especially Finn Balor, who has been acting like Mysterio’s voice of reason, but suspiciously looks like he’s responsible for a lot of what’s happened, including taking the room key when no one was looking.
