A few weeks ago, we seemed to be careening toward a triple threat between Bronson Reed, Shinsuke Nakamura and Ricochet. But plans changed for the One and Only recently, as he’s now programmed with Logan Paul.

So, rather than just move on, WWE has decided that they’ll just recast the role of Ricochet by manufacturing a similar three-way confrontation with Tommaso Ciampa. It’s simple: Have Reed cost Ciampa his match against Miz last week. Then, have Tommaso attack Bronson this week, costing Shinsuke a chance at a decisive win. Then, have Nakamura boot Ciampa so they have heat too.

And presto! Instant three-way feud. Just in time for SummerSlam. Nevermind whether it’s good, we had a triple threat booked, and we’re gonna get one.
