3. Making Sure They Boo Trish

Memo to WWE: The Becky Lynch/Trish Stratus feud is done. Over. Cooked. Dead.

There was no need to spend the time Monday night making sure the Canadian fans booed Trish in her home country by having her bash Quebec City. It was a pointless exercise in just trying to get the crowd reaction WWE brass wanted for a feud that should have ended a month ago and has been DOA for weeks before that.

For a wrestler whose entire gimmick is getting fans and other superstars to tell her “Thank you Trish,” bashing a crowd that’s actually chanting “thank you” is a pretty piss-poor look.

And Lynch requesting a Falls Count Anywhere with Zoey Stark days before her big blowoff match with Stratus also seems foolish, both from the character’s perspective (Trish can blatantly interfere and make it a 2-on-1 match), and from a booking sense (WWE is going to likely want to have something for Becky to do after Stratus leaves post-Payback).

It doesn’t seem to make a ton of sense, especially for a dead rivalry.
