6 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE Raw (6 Nov - Results & Review)

2. A Mostly Dull Affair

Women's Battle Royal

Fans should be forgiven if they fell asleep during the third hour of Raw watching the women’s battle royal.

The match was mostly filled with your typical battle royal tropes of women pairing off and fighting in the corners, leaning on the ropes, gently pushing someone onto the apron and then inexplicably meandering around the ring without making sure they had actually eliminated the wrestler.

Oh, and the Nikki Cross routine was just more bad “comedy” from WWE, as fans are supposed to care about the former near-superhero reverting to a character whose time had come and gone more than five years ago.

Things would pick up a bit late in the match, but by the time it got interesting, the match had already cured insomnia.
