6 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE Raw (April 11)

3. Ciampa’s Debut An Afterthought

After all the speculation about whether Tommaso Ciampa would join Edge’s little stable when he was called up to the main roster, we got our disappointing answer Monday night.

Ciampa was backstage for an interview when Ezekiel came in to welcome him to Raw, only for Kevin Owens to interrupt and launch into his routine about proving that this really was Elias without a beard.

Meanwhile, Ciampa just stood there saying nothing until they left, finally only saying that Ezekiel was who he said he was.

You’d think WWE would want to introduce fans to the newest member of the roster, but having him participate in backstage wackiness was more important.
