6 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE Raw (Dec 12 - Review)
2. Double Or Nothing… We’d Prefer Nothing
Please take this version of Johnny Gargano and fire him. Then go out and hire Johnny Wrestling.
It really is ridiculous that a guy whose entire brand is based on his in-ring ability has won just one televised singles match in three months now, none in the past two months. And his last match was three weeks ago.
Instead, Gargano continued to be dragged into the somehow still-ongoing Miz/Dexter Lumis “feud,” with Miz upping the ante by trying to steal his money back Monday night after seeing Lumis and Gargano buy WWE paraphernalia and throwing it into the crowd. Adam Pearce forced him to return it, but Miz begged for a chance to win it back.
The solution? A ladder match – because we haven’t had enough of those in WWE – for double the money, with Miz putting up more money. This also led to the chauvinistic comment with the men lamenting how their wives control their bank accounts. Oh, and the Miz doesn’t like being called by his real first name and still has “tiny balls.”
And we’ll presumably go another week without Gargano wrestling next week and instead provide backup for Dexter. Joy.
