6 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE Raw (Dec 12 - Review)

3. Fired

Bobby Lashley

We really shouldn’t be surprised by the fact that Adam Pearce got involved in the aftermath of the Raw main event Monday night, given what happened last week with Bobby Lashley accidentally spearing a producer.

But watching Lashley accidentally elbow a referee and shove Pearce and then hearing the official fire the All Mighty was a bit much. Suspended? Sure, that would make sense. But we’ve seen wrestlers do way worse to WWE officials and barely suffer any consequences. Surely there are better ways to get Lashley off TV for a few weeks before starting a program with Brock Lesnar.

Also, we just saw with Dexter Lumis that being fired from WWE doesn’t really prevent you from appearing on Raw whenever you want, so it’s not like Pearce just provided a safe work environment for his refs and officials. And Lashley could just stalk Pearce until he gets a match to win his job back, right?

Why they didn’t just suspend him for a month, we’ll never understand. Let’s see if this gets rolled back next week.
