6 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE Raw (Oct 2 - Results & Review)

4. A Win’s A Win

Poor Tegan Nox. She just seems to be unable to get that elusive NXT Women’s Championship match.

Nox originally was slated to answer Becky Lynch’s open challenge a couple of weeks ago, but that was changed to Natalya answering the call hours before Raw began. Tegan was then given a singles bout the following week on Raw, defeating Nattie, which set her up for Monday’s bout against Lynch.

But The Man was not medically cleared due to needing 11 stitches to close a wound on her arm that she sustained in her title match against Tiffany Stratton at NXT No Mercy. Lynch/Nox has been postponed until next week’s Raw.

Monday, however, Nox filled her dance card with a quick singles win over Chelsea Green, who managed to talk herself into the match in a backstage segment. Giving Tegan a quick win over a beatable name like Chelsea actually can give her momentum (which seems like a joke given how often WWE uses that word), considering how little she’d been on TV prior to last week.

Here’s hoping everything goes off without a hitch next week and Tegan knocks it out of the park.
