6 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Oct 1)

1. Less Is More

Foreheads were palmed a few times in his household when Seth Rollins invaded Edge's home to leave the fridge door open and critique his daughter's artwork. That's it - that's all that happened. Meanwhile, Edge called Beth Phoenix and told her not to go home incase Seth was still there.

Might've locked your front door, guys.

This red hot rivalry didn't need one ounce of this borderline-comical home invasion garbage. The pair had worked a stunning injury angle mere weeks ago, so this guff felt like a step in the wrong direction for everyone. Seth was comedic rather than threatening, and the 'Rated-R' family need a lesson in home security.

WWE's writing team could do with a lesson themselves. They need to learn that less is more sometimes, especially when it comes to feuds that have already burned through a lot of content. Did this invasion bit add anything to the story? Not particularly, no.
