It's difficult to create something special when you've got eight wrestlers to appease and only 10 minutes to work with. Thankfully, American Alpha, 'dem Dirty Dawgs, New Day and The Street Profits have enough skills between them to tie everything together and make it work.

This was a fun TV sprint.

The fellas had to contend with a commercial break mid-match as well, which didn't help, but this was decent for what it was. It was always gonna be watchable, put it that way. Plus, the continued focus on Montez Ford (who has a genuine chance of breaking out on his own as a solo sensation) was nice.

SmackDown's doubles division is better than WWE's handling of it would lead people to believe. It could even shed one of these squads (Dirty Dawgs seem like a safe bet for a brand switch come Monday night) and quality would still be high.
