Hulk Hogan was in full promotional mode for his impending reality TV rebirth in 2005, making a series of appearances for WWE over the year to help promote the show and produce content for it simultaneously.

His Hall Of Fame induction one night earlier was a significant celebration of his contributions not just to WWE but the legacy of WrestleMania. Much of that was spent bantering off foreign menaces, so his use here was fitting and broadly enjoyable in and of itself.

Muhammad Hassan and Daivari were bullying the injured Eugene as Hogan's music hit - monster pop included. 'The Hulkster' predictably obliterated the heels before posing in front of an enormous American flag on the TitanTron.

Hulkamania would never feel as pure again.
