6 Ups & 6 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Jul 29)

3. Girl, Hi?!

A supplemental Down for the news that AEW's Deadly Draw tournament will go down on YouTube, not Dynamite. The women's division needs exposure - shunting them onto the internet, not national television, won't give them that.

The segment in which former WWE wrestler Cameron (now Ariane) was introduced was extremely weird. The Deadly Draw dictates that wrestlers will be paired with whoever draws the same coloured ball as them, so Ariane joins Nyla Rose. The former Funkadactyl walked in, declared this, dropped her catchphrase, and left, leaving Guerrero and Rose as perplexed as the viewer.

It's hardly the most inspiring debut for a wrestler who has been out of the business for four years now, and rarely set the world alight during her time in WWE. Like anyone else, Ariane deserves a chance, though this was a sucky intro.
