6 Ups & 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Backstage (Feb 4)
3. Shot Tag
Keeping it short and sharp is usually WWE Backstage's secret weapon, but the over-long Promo School portion of the show knackered what should have been some longer craic on three of the company's most interesting issues.
The growing conflict between Edge and Randy Orton deserved the main event spot in garnered on the post-Royal Rumble Raw, whilst the pending date between Mandy Rose and Otis as well as Ruby Riott's return could well have been packaged elsewhere beyond the 'Hot Tag' quickfire round.
The show typically does a better job with the balance - this week's edition was something of a rule-proving exception.
